I am always looking for more ways to make my morning a little bit easier! I typically wake up at 5:30, and getting a nutritious breakfast can sometimes be difficult.
Here is an easy recipe to make baked oatmeal in the microwave!
Baked Oatmeal in a Mug by: Megan Cahill
Ingredients
2 cups oats
1 c milk
1/4 c applesauce
1/2 c chopped apples
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbs. brown sugar
Directions:
1. Mix all of the dry ingredients first and then put it into the mug.
2. Add in wet ingredients and then stir until it is well mixed.
3. Microwave for 5-7 minutes.
4. Take out with a hot pad because it will be very hot! My husband and I love adding extra milk on top of the baked oatmeal. Enjoy!
